The SNAP-B12M rack mounts a compatible SNAP brain (such as the serial B3000 or the SNAP-UP1-ADS) and 12 SNAP I/O modules. Analog, digital, and serial modules can be mixed on the same rack. Four-channel digital modules can be placed in the first eight positions only; 32-channel digital modules can be placed in any position. Field devices are wired directly to the top-mounted removable connectors on the SNAP I/O modules. The rack can be panel mounted or DIN-rail mounted. It requires a 5 VDC power source.

SNAP 64-point Digital-only RackSNAP 64-point Digital-only Rack Ref: SNAP-D64RS

The SNAP-D64RS holds a SNAP digital-only I/O processor (brain or on-the-rack controller) and 16 four-channel SNAP digital I/O modules, for 64 total points of digital I/O. Note that this rack is not compatible with SNAP high-density digital modules.

Field devices are wired directly to the top-mounted removable connectors on the I/O modules. The rack can be panel mounted or DIN-rail mounted.

Compatible processors are the SNAP-PDPRS64 Profibus brain, the SNAP-ENET-D64 Ethernet brain, and the SNAP-UP1-D64 on-the-rack controller.

NOTE: This rack is not recommended for new Ethernet applications. Instead, we recommend using a SNAP M-series mounting rack, such as the SNAP-M64, with a SNAP-ENET-S64 brain or SNAP-PAC-R1 controller. These newer rack and processor combinations provide additional features, including analog and serial capability, at a lower cost.

The SNAP-PAC-RCK16 mounts one SNAP PAC brain or on-the-rack controller and up to 16 analog, digital, serial, and special-purpose SNAP I/O modules. The SNAP-PAC-RCK16 can be DIN-rail or panel mounted.



This rack works with all SNAP I/O modules on the Opto 22 website. Analog, digital, serial, and special-purpose modules can be mixed on the rack and placed in any position. (Some serial and special-purpose modules are limited to a maximum of eight on one rack. See module data sheets for limitations and power requirements.)
