32-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O Modules32-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O Modules Ref: SNAP-TEX-32

Part of the SNAP TEX family of mounting and wiring accessories, the SNAP-TEX-32 is a simple breakout board with straight-through wiring. Designed primarily for 2- and 4-channel analog inputs/outputs and for 4-channel digital inputs, the breakout board is used with SNAP-TEX cables.

The SNAP-TEX-32 can also be used with 8-, 16-, or 32-channel SNAP analog modules (not thermocouples). See the data sheet for recommended module, cable, and breakout board combinations.

16-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O with Fuses and Bussed Power (120-240 V)16-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O with Fuses and Bussed Power (120-240 V) Ref: SNAP-TEX-FB16-H

Part of the SNAP TEX family of mounting and wiring accessories, the SNAP-TEX-FB16-H breakout board provides a fuse and a fuse-blown indicator for each of its 16 channels. In addition, it provides 120–240 volts of power to loads. Simply attach the power source to a single spot in the middle of the rack, and power goes out to solenoids or switches, depending on the module you’re using. The SNAP-TEX-FB16-H is used primarily for digital inputs and outputs.

CAUTION: Odd pins on the SNAP-TEX-FB16-H breakout board are connected. Use only straight-through (SNAP-TEX-CBS6) or odd (SNAP-TEX-CBO6) cables with this board. See the data sheet for recommended module, cable, and breakout board combinations.

16-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O with Fuses and Bussed Power (12-24 V)16-Point Breakout Board for SNAP I/O with Fuses and Bussed Power (12-24 V) Ref: SNAP-TEX-FB16-L

Part of the SNAP TEX family of mounting and wiring accessories, the SNAP-TEX-FB16-L breakout board provides a fuse and a fuse-blown indicator for each of its 16 channels. In addition, it provides 12–24 volts of power to loads. Simply attach the power source to a single spot in the middle of the rack, and power goes out to solenoids or switches, depending on the module you’re using. The SNAP-TEX-FB16-L is used primarily for digital inputs and outputs.

CAUTION: Odd pins on the SNAP-TEX-FB16-L breakout board are connected. Use only straight-through (SNAP-TEX-CBS6) or odd (SNAP-TEX-CBO6) cables with this board. See the data sheet for recommended module, cable, and breakout board combinations.

Breakout Board for SNAP-AIV-32Breakout Board for SNAP-AIV-32 Ref: SNAP-AIV-HDB

The SNAP-AIV-HDB is a convenient breakout board for wiring field devices to a 32-channel SNAP-AIV-32 analog input module.

Use the SNAP-HD-BF6 cable to connect the module to the breakout board.

Breakout Board for SNAP-AIMA-32Breakout Board for SNAP-AIMA-32 Ref: SNAP-AIMA-HDB

The SNAP-AIMA-HDB is a convenient breakout board for wiring field devices to a 32-channel SNAP-AIMA-32 analog input module. This breakout board is strongly recommended for use with the SNAP-AIMA-32, because miswiring of any point on the module can cause severe out-of-warranty damage. The breakout rack protects the module from many wiring errors.

Use the SNAP-HD-BF6 cable to connect the module to the breakout board.

4-Axes Motion Control Breakout Board Stepper4-Axes Motion Control Breakout Board Stepper Ref: SNAP-SCM-BB4

The SNAP-SCM-BB4 is part of the SNAP PAC Motion Control Subsystem of the SNAP PAC System. Working with the SNAP-SCM-MCH16 host communication module, this breakout board is equipped with a Magellan(TM) processor chip set that outputs pulse and direction signals for up to four stepper motor systems, under the direction of a SNAP PAC controller.

Up to four breakout boards can be daisy-chained and connected to a single module. The module’s external connector provides lines to power one breakout board; additional boards require a separate power source. The breakout board is designed to be mounted using a DIN-rail system.

For more information see Datasheet below.

16-Point Breakout Board with Mechanical Relays for SNAP Digital Output Modules 16-Point Breakout Board with Mechanical Relays for SNAP Digital Output Modules Ref: SNAP-TEX-MR10-16

The SNAP-TEX-MR10-16 breakout board is designed for high-current switching of outputs through SNAP digital output modules. The board includes 16 mechanical relays, one for each point, that can switch up to 10 A per point. (Without the breakout board, SNAP digital output modules can switch up to 0.75 A per point.)

The SNAP-TEX-MR10-16 includes on/off indicators for each point, and each point can be wired for normally closed or normally open. The board requires 24 VDC power.

The MR board is usually used with four 4-channel digital output modules such as the SNAP-ODC5-i and the SNAP-ODC5SRC, and four SNAP-TEX-CBO6 cables.

Alternatively, the board can be used with the high-density SNAP-ODC-32-SRC digital output module. Use a SNAP-HD-CBF6 cable and two boards for the 32-point module.

NOTE: A replacement relay, the SNAP-MR10, is available.

The SNAP-TEX-MR10-4 breakout board is designed for high-current switching of outputs through a 4-point SNAP digital output module. The board includes 4 mechanical relays, one for each point, that can switch up to 10 A per point. (Without the breakout board, SNAP digital output modules can switch up to 0.75 A per point.)

The SNAP-TEX-MR10-4 includes on/off indicators for each point, and each point can be wired for normally closed or normally open. The board requires 24 VDC power.

The MR board is used with a 4-channel digital output module such as the SNAP-ODC5-i or the SNAP-ODC5SRC, and a SNAP-TEX-CBO6 cable.

If you need more channels, see the SNAP-TEX-MR10-16.

NOTE: A replacement relay, the SNAP-MR10, is available.
