PSU 110 VAC to 24 VDCPSU 110 VAC to 24 VDC Ref: SNAP-PS24

The SNAP-PS24 power supply provides 24 volts (0.75 amps) of DC power and requires a 120 VAC input. This power supply is ideal for powering a SNAP PAC S-series controller (such as the SNAP-PAC-S1) or for providing loop power for SNAP analog modules mounted on a SNAP PAC rack.


AC power connections are made to a removable terminal strip on top of the power supply. DC output power is hooked up using the attached wiring harness.

For larger loads (up to 1.25 amps) or an input of 100-250 VAC, see the SNAP-PS24U.

NOTE: The SNAP-PS24 can also be used to provide loop power for analog modules on a SNAP M-series or B-series rack.

PSU 110 VAC to 5 VDCPSU 110 VAC to 5 VDC Ref: SNAP-PS5

The SNAP-PS5 power supply (120 VAC input) can provide 5 VDC power for loads up to 4 amps. This compact, sturdy supply is the best source of power for your SNAP PAC System. It includes a built-in fuse, an LED status indicator, and an ON/OFF power switch for ease of use.


The SNAP-PS5 provides 5 VDC power for a SNAP PAC rack with an I/O processor (SNAP PAC brain or R-series controller) and I/O modules mounted on the rack. To figure power requirements, see form #1120, the SNAP Power Supplies Data Sheet, under the Docs & Downloads tab.

For larger loads (up to 5 amps) or an input of 100-250 VAC, see the SNAP-PS5U. NOTE: The SNAP-PS5 is also compatible with SNAP Ultimate, SNAP Ethernet, and SNAP Simple brains, with other SNAP brains such as the serial B3000, and with legacy controllers (such as the SNAP-LCSX) that require 5 VDC.

The SNAP-PS24U power supply provides 24 volts (1.25 amps) of DC power. This power supply is ideal for powering a SNAP PAC S-series controller (such as the SNAP-PAC-S1) or for providing loop power for SNAP analog modules mounted on a SNAP PAC rack.


AC power connections are made to a removable terminal strip on top of the power supply. DC output power is hooked up using the attached wiring harness.

If you need fewer amps and can use a 120 VAC input, see the SNAP-PS24, which provides 0.75 A.

NOTE: The SNAP-PS24U can also be used to provide loop power for analog modules on a SNAP M-series or B-series rack.

The SNAP-PS5-24DC power supply (24 VDC input) can provide 5 VDC power for loads up to 4 amps. This power supply is compatible with SNAP Ethernet and SNAP Ultimate I/O. For example, the SNAP-PS5-24DC power supply can provide power for:
(1) a SNAP Ethernet brain, a SNAP mounting rack, and control power for I/O modules; or
(2) a SNAP-LCSX or SNAP-LCSX-PLUS controller, a B3000 brain, a SNAP mounting rack, and control power for up to eight digital and eight analog SNAP I/O modules.
The power supply can be panel-mounted, or it can be DIN-rail mounted using the optional adapter (SNAP-PSDIN).
