Single-Phase Power MonitoringSingle-Phase Power Monitoring Ref: SNAP-AIPM

SNAP-AIPM analog input modules help you measure and control power usage throughout your facility. The SNAP-AIPM module simulataneously measures single-phase volts AC RMS and amps AC RMS and calculates true power and volt-amps. Leading or lagging power factor can then be calculated from true power and volt-amp values. When these modules are used as part of a SNAP Ethernet system running an ioControl strategy, the strategy logic can automatically perform the calculations and respond to problems.
SNAP-AIPM modules are compatible with SNAP Ultimate, SNAP Ethernet, and SNAP Simple I/O.

16-Axes Motion Control Host16-Axes Motion Control Host Ref: SNAP-SCM-MCH16

The SNAP-SCM-MCH16 motion control host module is a key part of the SNAP PAC Motion Control Subsystem for the SNAP PAC System. The SNAP-SCM-MCH16 works with a SNAP PAC controller running a PAC Control programming strategy to control up to 16 stepper motors.

The SNAP-SCM-MCH16 snaps onto an Opto 22 SNAP PAC mounting rack right beside digital, analog, and other SNAP I/O modules. A single SNAP-SCM-MCH16 links up to four SNAP-SCM-BB4 motion control breakout boards. Each breakout board is equipped with a Magellan(TM) processor chip set that outputs pulse and direction signals for up to four stepper motor systems.

2-Channel Wiegand Interface2-Channel Wiegand Interface Ref: SNAP-SCM-W2

The SNAP-SCM-W2 provides two isolated channels of data input from attached devices that comply with the Wiegand interface format. Used with a SNAP PAC brain or R-series controller, the module complies with the Security Industry Association Standard Protocol for the 26-bit Wiegand Reader Interface. The module is also compatible with legacy SNAP Ethernet, SNAP Simple, and SNAP Ultimate I/O.

The SNAP-SCM-W2 is ideal for access control applications.

PROFIBUS CommsPROFIBUS Comms Ref: SNAP-SCM-PROFI

The SNAP-SCM-PROFI module is a high-speed serial communications module that provides a standard electrical interface between the Ethernet-based SNAP PAC System and PROFIBUS DP® networks. The SNAP-SCM-PROFI module is designed for use with Opto 22’s SNAP PAC brains and R-series controllers.

The module snaps into Opto 22 SNAP PAC mounting racks, right beside digital and analog modules, to provide the mix of analog, digital, and serial channels you need at any location. LEDs indicate Transmit and Receive activity on the port, as well as power and operation status.

In order to facilitate system integration using a SNAP-SCM-PROFI module with a SNAP PAC controller running PAC Control software, Opto 22 provides PROFIBUS DP Master Software. For more information, see Opto 22 form #1591, the PROFIBUS DP Master Technical Note, under the Docs & Downloads tab.

Note for legacy hardware: This module can also be used on SNAP M-series and B-series racks and is compatible with legacy SNAP Ethernet, SNAP Simple, and SNAP Ultimate I/O.
